Front And Side Drawstring Kimono Swimsuit Cover Up With Draped Sleeves
Our "NISSI" print inspiration is dedicated to the dove cots that one can meet in abundance in Tinos, Andros and Mykonos island and are built to house, to protect and to feed the pigeons. They are created with slate stones that shape various combinations of rhombus and triangular motifs that consist a really beautiful and harmonic touch on the islands' territory. This kimono is a rectangular piece of garment that is worn by tying its front and side strings in beautiful bow knots. Its knee length makes it easy to be worn even without a pair of shorts but just with your swimsuit. It can perfectly be worn on and off the beach, since it consists a minimal and stylish cover up for your summer night outfits.
* Inspiration: When thinking of summer vacations, our mind travels to our Aegean sea islands. The cycladic architecture is purely white in color, and has rounded edged buildings; a very characteristic part of it are the dove cots that are built all around the islands' territory. These cots are so very elaborately designed and built that consist a piece of architectural art in our eyes and therefore, they were our inspiration for this black and white print design.
* The Greek name of these dove cots is "peristerones" .
* The title "NISSI" is the greek word for "island".
